Pleasanton, Calif. (September 12, 2012) – Leukobyte, Inc., today announced the availability of CytoPaint Classic for Windows version 1.1, offering more than 20 new features that make CytoPaint Classic for Windows the most intuitive, easy-to-use tool for analyzing complex flow cytometry data.

CytoPaint Classic for Windows version 1.1 takes the unique, user-friendly painting methodology of CytoPaint Classic for Windows to the next level of scientific analysis with advanced functionality including:

Display data with biexponential scaling
Right-click menus on 2D and histogram plots that enables the user to easily access common functions
Absolute counts from any cytometer when using BD Trucount^™ tubes or other counting particles
Robust statistics (median, rSD, rCV, percentiles)
Import/export user-defined compensation matrices
Auto-compensation from control bead measurements
Automatic and manual cropping of displayed data
Special functions for analyzing FCS files acquired from BD Accuri^™ C6 instruments

The new features, developed in direct response to user feedback and requests, can significantly reduce the time it takes to perform analyses.
